I have been using malted milk powder for years and have always searched for good pricing on it. I usually buy in bulk. I am mostly used to the Carnation product. I bought one canister of this to try it out before buying a large quantity for a better price. I'm glad I did so. It is delicious but sweeter than the Carnation product and it does reveal that on the nutrition label by showing it has more sugar carbs.
Good but I'm going to keep looking for the regular stuff I'm more used to using. -

This was the real thing. It's what makes a milk shake a sublime experience. We also dust it on ice cream to create a dusty. Love it!

I remember when I was very young in the early '70's my Great uncle took me to an old style soda ran by an older gentleman (of course they were already long out of style even then) I can remember the big clear jar of labeled "Malt" behind the counter. I had never had anything so good before in my life. I mean I remember it well 40 years later so it had be VERY good right? Well many time I have tried to get that taste again 15 years ago the grocery store stuff kinda worked. I worried that I was losing my sense of taste since even doubling the amount the grocery store 'malt' the label said to use I could barely taste it.
Then I found this product. This is THE stuff!
I guess the problem was not my taste buds after all!
Thank you CTL for, if only for a few minutes taking me back to dear uncle Frank driving me into small town Nebraska and buying me a treat back when Richard Nixon was the President.
